Went abseiling on the highest commercial
 abseil in the world Table Mountain




We went on a safari in                                 Our hotel in

                                    traditional Zulu

We went of a hot air balloon with Winelands
Ballooning. The flight take place in the scenic
Berg River Valley outside of Paarl.

                                                        a traditional braai (barbeque)

                                          morning
                                          who were
                                          playing the
                                          traditional
 We went on an ostrich ride in
                                          kakaki
 Highgate Ostrich Show farm in
                                          wind
 Oudtshoorn. We took the bus
                                          instrument
 here from our hotel.

We visited one
                                  of the building
                                  sites and
                                  volunteered in
                                  helping to
                                  rebuild some
                                  houses.

 We went to the village of
 Port au Paix. Here we
 witnessed some of the
 destruction from the
 earthquake.

We saw a street festival in Port
Au Prince, where traditional
music and dancing was done.
The dancers were called Ra ra
dancers.




                                        The village of Jacmel in the South East is a well
                                        known place for voodoo. We saw a street
                                        carnival here, where people in papier maché
                                        costumes paraded the streets.
One night in our hotel we
had Cabrit, which is goat
meat.                              Also in Jacmel, we
                                   went to the Bassins
                                   Bleus, which are 3
                                   pools joined by a
                                   waterfall
