First, you dip the skewer for a good helping of sauce. If
the sauce runs out, use the cabbage on the table to
scoop some more. The cabbage is crunchy and
delicious itself. This is the way to eat kushikatsu.
As a food city, you
just have to try it.

Every year on July 24th and 25th the
Tenjin Festival is held. The shrine
parishioners are dressed in vivid
outfits and more than 100 boats
gather for the procession. Then, the
fireworks at the end color the
summer night sky.
Tenjin Festival
Featuring the Osaka-style bustle and atmosphere.
An area that flourished due to the proximity to Osaka Temmangu, famous for Tenjin Festival
The museum has faithfully re-created
traditional townhouses, using a construction
method popular in the 1830s. Visitors can
experience what life was like in Osaka in the
past, entering tatami rooms and viewing
furnishings placed in the rooms. The kimono
wearing program is also well-received.
