Operation Restore is an initiative by the National Burns Centre and Rotary District 3140 clubs that provides free corrective surgeries to burn survivors who cannot afford treatment. It aims to help burn victims lead normal lives despite disfigurement or disabilities from their injuries. The program started in 2011 and has held 14 camps helping around 350 patients from across India with specialized burn surgeries and post-operative care completely free of cost. The efforts are supported voluntarily by medical professionals and Rotary members who assist patients and their families through rehabilitation.
