Olisa Brown is a mentor and motivational speaker who works to empower youth and strengthen families in her community. She draws from her own childhood experiences with rejection and lack of purpose to support children through public speaking and mentorship. Olisa helps children understand their value and individuality. She addresses topics like bullying prevention, self-esteem, and healthy family dynamics. 1. Olisa Brown is a mentor and a motivational speaker making a positive impact
in her community as it relates to the youth and family dynamics. She has a
passion to see families thrive, which leads to strong and sustainable
communities. Her experience working with children includes mentoring in her
home based teenage girl’s ministry, tutoring for the Riverview School District
and currently working for the Ferguson-Florissant School District. It was from
her own childhood feelings of rejection, insecurities and lack of purpose that
drives her with the compassion that she has for children and families.
Olisa finds that the youth brings her joy and is inspired by the pure love and beauty they bring to the world.
Through speaking opportunities and mentorship, she provides support and motivation to help children to

Olisa attended the University of Phoenix and earned her AA in Business in June of 2009. She also has
volunteered at ASA Christian School were she assisted other teachers in the classroom. She is a mother of three
ages: 23, 9 and 7 and has been married soon to be in June for 10 years.
