Olafur Eliasson is a Danish-Icelandic artist born in 1967 in Copenhagen. He studied art in Copenhagen from 1989 to 1995 and has had a studio in Berlin since 1995. From 2009 to 2014 he also directed the Institute for Spatial Experiments at the University of the Arts Berlin.
