Social Media:
1. Facebook: Riversport OKC is a very active page that the Oklahoma Boathouse
District uses to communicate with their members and guests. It offers pictures of
people who use their facilities and events that they put on. They have
approximately 6,000 people who like their Facebook page. The social media team
posts daily if not twice daily to keep these followers up to date. They also have a
button located on their website that allows you to easily find their Facebook page.
2. Twitter: On Twitter, the Boathouse District is consistent with their account name
using Riversport OKC here as well. On Twitter they interact with those who
mention and often retweet pictures of athletes using their facilities. The Boathouse
District has a larger following on Twitter with over 11,000 followers.
3. Flickr: Using the name Oklahoma River Events on Flickr they post pictures onto
a Photostream so people who are apart of events can go and see themselves or
their teams. Flickr isn’t a very popular social media, so they only have 18
followers. They update it frequently with the latest post being on November 8,
2015.
4. Youtube: The Boathouse District page on Youtube is a place primarily dedicated
for showing all that the Boathouse District has to offer. They have 380
subscribers.
Social Media is just one way that the Boathouse District reaches out to the people of
OKC. They also use digital advertising, print advertising, email marketing, community
relations, public relations, trade shows and other tools to promote the small private
nonprofit business.

Description of Facilities
Riversport Adventures
The Riversport Adventure Park is a theme park just minutes from downtown
Oklahoma City where park goers can enjoy being in, on, or around the Oklahoma River,
and experience fun, exhilarating attractions that are centered around improving the health
of the individuals that visit. The Riversport Adventure Park is unparalleled to any park
out there. What makes the park so unique is its ability to please all types of people. For
example, a thrill seeking individual will find his niche at the Rumble Drop and someone
who is a bit more easy going will find enjoyment kayaking or standup paddleboarding.

17. Chesapeake Energy Corporation. The design is intended to look like a rowing
shell. The $3.5 million facility includes:
● Deck, lobby, and event room for receptions and meetings
● Boat bays to store up to 124 rowing shells
● A panoramic 24foot wall of glass overlooking the deck, river, and
reflecting pool
● Event room with a 62foot window revealing the boat bays
● Fully equipped fitness/training room overlooking the river.

facilities, indoor rowing class, and additional fitness classes.
Devon Boathouse: The $10 million facility is the home for Oklahoma City
University rowing and canoeing/kayaking. It is also the headquarters for the OKC
National High Performance Center. The OKC National High Performance Center
offers training for olympic hopefuls in rowing sports. Rand Elliott also created
this facility with Oklahoma City’s skyline as the backdrop. It looks similar to a
boat’s nose cutting through waves. The Devon Boathouse includes:
