La silla Sheer de Monica Förster fue desarrollada con la ambición de crear una silla lo más ligera posible, por una serie de razones, incluyendo hacer que sea fácil y ergonómico de usar. "He trabajado antes con proyectos en los que el peso de los productos ha sido decisivo, desde la perspectiva del entorno de trabajo", dice Monica Förster. "Pensamos, ¿por qué no tomar la demanda de peso ligero muy en serio, haciendo la silla más fácil para que la gente trabaje permitiendo que la ligereza sea la fuerza impulsora de todo el proceso creativo". Sheer es una silla técnicamente avanzada e innovadora, con un tejido tecnológico semitransparente ensamblado sobre una fina base de construcción de acero. Aparte de su aspecto ligero y transparente, el asiento se puede substituir fácilmente cuando está necesitado. Es una silla cuidadosamente pensada y elaborada en cada detalle, con una comodidad y una ergonomía superiores. "La búsqueda de la ligereza ha dado a la silla algunas cualidades adicionales interesantes", dice Monica Förster. "Por ejemplo, si se selecciona con el textil y el marco en un color monocromático, sutil, puede dar a una habitación un carácter de ensueño, casi como una nube, o una niebla, manteniendo alta tecnología en su expresión. Me encanta esa combinación de alta tecnología y poesía ". Sheer fue introducido por primera vez como producto de laboratorio en 2016.

Monica Förster’s Sheer chair was developed with the ambition to create a chair that is as light
as possible. The chair should be easy and ergonomic to use.
“I’ve worked before with projects where the weight of the products has been decisive, from a
work environment perspective,” says Monica Förster. “We thought, why not take the demand
for light weight very seriously, making the chair easier for people to work with, allowing
lightness to be the driving force for the entire creative process.”
Sheer is a technically advanced and innovative chair, with a semi-transparent technological
textile assembled onto a thin steel construction base. Apart from its light and transparent
appearance, the seat can easily be replaced when needed. It is a chair that is very carefully
thought through and crafted in every detail, with superior comfort and ergonomics.
“The pursuit of lightness has given the chair some interesting additional qualities,” says
Monica Förster. “For example, if selected with the textile and the frame in a monochrome,
subtle color, it can give a room a dreamy character, almost like a cloud, or a mist, while
remaining high-tech in its expression. I love that combination of high-tech and poetry.”
