Odbaatar Sodov was born in 1985 in Mongolia. He was raised by his grandparents until age 7 and graduated from high school in 2002. He then graduated from the Mongolian Children's Palace "scientific" program with a gold medal and received a degree in computer hardware engineering in 2007. He has participated successfully in robotics competitions and worked in various engineering and maintenance roles for elevator, computer, and bowling machine companies between 2008-2015. Since 2015, he has worked as an elevator engineer for a construction company, where he is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and technical support.
