This document outlines the itinerary and schedule for a week-long meeting in Greece between radio groups from several European countries participating in the Comenius European School Radio program. The groups will arrive on different dates from October 6-8 and participate in meetings, workshops, sightseeing excursions, and social activities together in Kilkis and Thessaloniki until their departure dates from October 13-14. The schedule includes official meetings, presentations, discussions on technical radio production topics, visits to historical sites, meals together, and a farewell dinner party before the groups depart. Transportation between locations will be provided by hired bus.

(http://oasth.gr/index_eng.php). TAXI: The distance is about 25 minutes (14 kilometers) depending on
traffic. The cost is 20-25 euros for one taxi (not per person). After midnight is double fare (40-45 euros).
Tell the drivers the address 21 Mitropoleos street. (reads "21 Metropoleos Str", Tourist Hotel,
Thessaloniki, city centre).

Wednesday 10 October – DAILY EXCURSION
07:50 - Departure from Hotel for the excursion.
Trip to Vergina - Aiges (Macedonian Tombs and birthplace of
Alexander the Great), Olympus Mountain area (ancient city of Dion,

12:30 - Coffee by the see , SWIMMING TIME!. ‘Panteleimon’ village
(picturesque
villages on the mountain, side by side to Olympus).
Lunch in the area of Olumpus.Returning at hotel around
20:00. Night out in Thessaloniki, food, clubbing/free time. We suggest drinks
on a
boat-bar at the harbour.

Thursday 11 October – KAMPANIS HIGH SCHOOL MEETING
07:50- Departure to Kampanis Senior High School, Kilkis
08:30- Meeting the School community,
08:45- 11:20-Working sessions, workshops, meeting the school. Coffee breaks
in
between.
11:30 -12:10 - Live broadcast from Greece on the European School Radio
12:15 - Meeting with the Director of the Secondary Education Directorate
Kilkis
Manucipality, and the Major or representantive (Munacipality of
Kilkis).
12:30- 14:00 Greek live music, folklore dances and traditions.
14:00- Lunch at School. Parents Association and local Traditional and Women
societies prepare for Comenius domestic home made food,and local
winery
and drinks.
17:00 Back to Hotel, Free afternoon
21:30 – night out

Friday 12 October – LAST DAY
Morning-Noon: Visiting important sightseeing in Thessaloniki until 13:00.
Includes City Tourist bus.
Then free time for shopping and strolling in Thessaloniki until the evening.
Evening/night : Return to hotel around 19:00,
20:00 - Farewell dinner party at city centre.
