This document summarizes the results of a survey on breakfast habits in Belgium. Key findings include:
- 75% of Belgians consider breakfast very important, compared to 59% for lunch and 70% for dinner.
- 76% of Belgians have breakfast every day, with 12% reporting almost every day. Younger people and those living with others are more likely to have breakfast daily.
- The most common breakfast foods are cereal products, dairy products like yogurt, and fruits. Beverages include coffee, fruit juice, and milk. Weekend breakfasts tend to be larger and include more pastries.
- Most Belgians spend 5-10 minutes on breakfast and have it at home, usually with others at
