The Islamic Center at NYU (ICNYU) has announced its November events which include:
1) A halal eating conversation on November 3rd with a founder of My Halal Kitchen and Imam Khalid Latif.
2) A discussion on November 7th about the life of Imam Musa al-Kadhim led by Imam Faiyaz Jaffer.
3) A workshop on November 10th about colorism and its roots in slavery and colonization.
4) Additional events include a Muslim-Christian cook-off, film screening, weekend seminar with a Shaykh, conversation with Ilyasah Shabazz, and welcome/converts
