Defining nonviolence, clarifying a few concepts, philosophy of nonviolence, stategy of nonviolent action, political nonviolence
Introduction to nonviolence

one 2-3 page essay (typed and double-spaced). Your essay should have a brief introduction followed by several paragraphs – one major point for each paragraph – and a short conclusion.
Topic:
Explicate this passage by Rose Schneiderman (it comes from Todd’s “Remembering the Unknowns”). You answer should include a brief discussion of Schneiderman, who she was and the context in which she was speaking. (You should find this information in the article and not on Wikipedia.) Who was she talking to when she made this speech? What does she mean when she says that public officials “have the workhouse just back of all their warnings”? Why does she say that she “can’t talk fellowship” with those who organized the meeting (and were sitting in the orchestra seats)? Your answer should include a discussion of social class.
I would be a traitor to those poor burned bodies if I were to come
here and talk good fellowship. . . . We have tried you citizens; we
are trying you now and you have a couple of dollars for the sorrowing
mothers and brothers and sisters by way of a charity gift. But every
time the workers come out in the only way they to protest against
conditions which are unbearable, the strong hand of law is allowed to
press down heavily upon us. Public officials have only words of warning
or us – warning that we must be intensely peaceable, and they have the
workhouse just back of all their warnings. The strong hand of the law
beats us back when we rise. . .. I can’t talk fellowship to you who are
gathered here. Too much blood has been spilled. I know from my
experience it is up to the working people to save themselves. And the
only way is through a strong working-class movement (Todd, 67).

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

In this webinar, we will review the benefits of leveraging InfluxDB and Grafana when executing load tests and demonstrate how these tools are used to visualize performance metrics.
Length: 30 minutes
Session Overview
-------------------------------------------
During this webinar, we will cover the following topics while demonstrating the integrations of JMeter, InfluxDB and Grafana:
- What out-of-the-box solutions are available for real-time monitoring JMeter tests?
- What are the benefits of integrating InfluxDB and Grafana into the load testing stack?
- Which features are provided by Grafana?

3. Noun Clauses:
Most of us grow up being taught( that patience is a virtue.)
Yet even a cursory appraisal of Pakistan society suggests (that too much respect
and tolerance does the cause of justice no good whatsoever.)
Indeed, those of us with influence and the financial means do not know (what the
word patience even means)
The rich and powerful-for whom time is money-are quite content in the
knowledge that the poor and voiceless will not rise up against the everday
injustice.
This is notwithstanding the daily diatribes that one hears in affluent leaving rooms
across the country.
That this is such an integalitarian society is bad enough.
What we like to think of as cultural uniqueness masks the very real and pervasive
Exercise of power.
It would be easy to think about such developments in term (of what the French
Thinker E.Durkheim called anomie,or what is known as deviant behaviour).
4. Adverb Clauses:
Almost every modern society, including this one, would be more human
and just (if respect and tolerance for others was part of our basic
socialization.)
The latter will continue to loyally nod their head in deference, utter the
standard yes sir/madam and then grovel at the feet of their masters with
out shame (when confronted with crises.)
(As I pointed out above, all of this is about power).
(If they were not constantly under the threat of having their honour
compromised or their livelihoods withheld.)
I would argue against any such explanation (while there is a “culture” of
deference(that is inculcated in most of us from an early age)
It is not as (if the otherwise silent masses do not express anger and
resentment at the status quo).
They do so mostly in private spaces (where their patrons can not hear
them, releasing their repressed rage periodically).
So as to be able to ensure (that they return to their places of work ready to
fulfil the next quota of subservience).
(if there is to be a happy ending in this tale of two cities,we need first and
formost to empathise with the voiceless masses).
(if the war against terrorism is to be won failure is not an option if we are
to survive as a nation).
5. Adjective Clauses:
Spend a little bit of time in any govt. department it become
obvious just(how patient a people we are or should I say how
patient the poor are).
Just( how dysfunctional the govt. is).
(how nothing the home actually works).
Girls and women (who know only obedience to fathers, brothers
and husbands might not be so respectful).
As I pointed out above, all of this is about power-(who exercises
it,who receiving end of it,and who ultimately benefits from its
prevailing structure).
As cultural uniqueness makes the very real exercise of power (that
is common to all societies characterized by such gross
classes,gender and other social divisions).
She represents the resilience of a young spirit for our society(that
is willing to incur sacrifices in the battle for the true spirit of faith)
Security experts firmly believe that capturing or imprisoning
criminals(who commit violent acts is possible).
Voiceless masses(that keep this country running.)
