Blondie Marketing was recently invited to give a lecture/workshop on nonprofits and social media to undergraduate students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts who are working on a variety of music-based charities, facilitated by the university. Topics discussed include: - Identifying and defining 5 major social media platforms commonly used among nonprofits and charities - Identifying content types - Pairing content with those 5 channels (what content your nonprofit may already have and where to best post it) - Three tools of the trade to help you create, edit, sand schedule content - How to keep it organized with a content calendar - How to report your findings to better create targeted social media posts
