1. SULPHIDE PROTECTION, TRANSPORT AND SULPHATE MINERALS -
MINERALS IN THE TRANSPORT OF COMBUSTION
(PYRITE), AND NON-METAL AMORPHOUS FILM
Pyrite, sulphide and sulphate minerals in transit that come in contact with water (rain),
humid air, and humidity over 60% manifests in their combustion. This combustion is
silent and produces sulphuric acid and sulphurous emissions.
Research has indicated that when transporting the ore or the gas concentrate via
flotation, boats, tankers, rail, trucks and cars it does not result in the Pacific self-
combustion. The research was conducted utilizing an innovative analytics product
called amorphous film based on a non-metal film owned by the Republic of Serbia.
The non-metal film is based on the same flotation ore concentrate that prevents
flammability and has no harmful influence on the process of applying the film. This is
accomplished by preventing the formation of sulphuric acid and sulpher, which
corrodes the metal framework of the ships; barge; tows; and rail cars.
The amorphous film applied does not enter the gas concentrate ore flotation structure
and looks like a chocolate coating similar in appearance to the “marshmallow”
substance form. The film, due to the content of carbonate, has only a positive effect in
metallurgy.
Ores for processing or flotation when loading, or loading for transport in general, is
carried out in the application of the film under high pressure. The transportion is 100%
protected from ore ignition for ships, tankers and railway wagons. Such an innovation
has the capacity to pave the way for further research and expropriation of processed
ore from ore mines. This amorphous film consists of three non-metal components
located within the geographic territories of the Republic of Serbia.
