A leading UK bariatric surgeon expressed dismay that celebrity Vanessa Feltz had gastric band surgery overseas, citing concerns about inadequate aftercare. The surgeon said proper medical supervision is critical for gastric bands to be used safely and effectively as a tool for weight loss, rather than a "magic cure". While overseas surgery may seem cheaper, total costs including required aftercare are often similar to quality options in the UK. Complications from inadequate follow-up that develop later can be dangerous if not promptly addressed by an experienced surgeon. The surgeon urges extreme caution for those considering overseas weight loss surgery due to risks from lack of support.

It's a challenge but also very rewarding. You have to find the meaning in the language and make it accessible to a modern audience while staying true to the text. Parts of the language don't come naturally to speak today so it takes focus and practice to feel comfortable delivering the lines. But getting to explore the depth and poetry of the language is really special. Shakespeare wrote in a way that is very heightened but also very human, so by slowing down and really listening to the words, I find new layers of meaning and it helps bring the character to life. It's a skill that takes time to develop but it's so worthwhile to be able to tell these incredible stories through Shakespeare's language.
The Boat That Rocked is a 2009 British comedy film written and directed by Richard Curtis. It is about a pirate radio station broadcasting rock music from an offshore ship in 1966 to circumvent the BBC's ban on playing rock music. The film follows a young man who joins the diverse group of DJs on the boat. In 1966, the BBC only played 2 hours of rock music per week while pirate radio stations played it 24 hours a day, attracting over half of Britain's population as listeners. The film is an ensemble comedy that captures the romance between British youth and the rock music that defined their generation, and depicts the DJs' battle against the government's attempt to outlaw pirate radio.

2. WHOM WILL MAID MARION CHOOSE?
The story is not unique. A woman has to choose between love or security.
Romantics would agree that the answer should be easy, but sometimes things
become complicated, and not so clear. Maid Marion has a problem. Her father
has fallen ill and the Sheriff of Nottingham has informed her that the taxes on
their estate have not been paid. Knowing that Robin Hood might be able to help,
Marion has sent word to the forest, but time is not on her side. When the Sheriff
arrived to foreclose on their estate, he was deeply moved by Marion’s beauty (and
perhaps the size of the estate), and has offered to pay her back taxes- only if she
agrees to marry him immediately. Marion has heard the stories about the Sheriff,
and knows that the marriage would be loveless, but without the tax monies, her
father and all of their servants will be cast out into the wilderness without a roof
over their heads. Robin Hood was unable to arrive in time, and Marion had to
quickly choose to save her family.
It was a terribly difficult decision, but Marion agreed to the marriage. The Sheriff
left immediately with Marion in search of a church and priest to finalize the mar-
riage with all due haste. However, along the way, they passed through a particu-
larly ancient section of the forest, and magic left over from an earlier age sensed
her plight, and felt that perhaps Maid Marion deserved another chance. The
magic brought her here, to Crossford, a town steeped in old magic. The presence
of the Fey can be felt here, and the residents have come to accept that sometimes
strangers may arrive within their borders that require assistance, and the good
people of Crossford are always willing to help!
Join the citizens of Crossford, as Robin Hood, Maid Marion, and the Sheriff of
Nottingham attempt to settle their differences. Watch as knights joust for glory
and honor; peasants and gentry alike battle in a live chess match- winner takes all;
and the town comes together to help another unfortunate soul caught at a cross-
roads to make the right decision. It is the Autumnal Equinox and the Duke of
Northumberland has made his yearly pilgrimage to join and celebrate the harvest.
Eat the glorious food and shop the stalls of the merchants in town. Play games,
sing & listen to the music, and immerse yourself in the world of the Renaissance!

full-time, but makes time to pursue her joys of laughter and outdoor theatre. Annette sends
big thanks to her family for keeping her laughing, even if it is at herself.
Jack Marriot (Gregory Gavel) hails from Lambertville, NJ and comes to us as a three-year
veteran of the PA Ren Faire's Blackfryar Cast. Jack wants to thank all his friends and family

trusted Merry Men- does that make her a “Merry Manette”?

Pieces of Eight! She has been involved in theatre for years, including Pirates of Penzance and
Once upon a Mattress, as well as the PA Ren Faire cast. Kim has not broken any legs, yet, but
has gotten very close, so she would like to thank the cast for helping her avoid injury (so far)!
Todd Smith (Robin Hood) - Todd has toured the world as a technician on several shows,
and has taken residence at an Off-Broadway house in NYC. However, he has returned to the

Catherine White (Sabine of Ravenhall) is overjoyed to be working with her dear friends
at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire. She has recently been working with Theatre at West
Virginia where she performed in such musicals as Footloose. She hopes everyone loves this
time as much as she will, because nothing beats being outside and fighting with swords.

musician. Cheers and Long Live the Duke!
