Acoustic Applications designed and installed two acoustic enclosures for plasma cutting machines for a UK heat exchanger manufacturer. The enclosures were designed to reduce noise levels from 105-110dB(A) outside the enclosure to below 80dB(A) to meet regulations. The enclosures provided safe access for operators and maintenance through large sliding doors and roof access. They also had adequate ventilation while maintaining acoustic integrity. The customer was pleased with the enclosures' design, functionality, acoustic performance, and on-time installation.
