This document provides information about a course titled "Sociology for Physiotherapist". The objectives of the course are to help students understand sociology and its importance in healthcare, the role of family and community in human behavior, and how social and economic factors influence population health. The course is divided into 5 modules that cover topics such as the introduction and methods of sociology, socialization, family structures and functions, rural and urban communities, and social problems faced by disabled individuals. Students will be assessed through continuous assessments, presentations, and an end-term examination. Upon completing the course, students will be able to explain the concepts of sociology, roles of family and community, and how sociology relates to physiotherapy practice
