Why I chose New York? There is the Statue of Liberty that was given by the French and I am French. There are plenty of amazing places to see.
Erie Canal  In the olden times, this canal was used to transfer goods.
Niagara Falls This separates New York State and Canada.
Albany, New York State Capital
Three Branches of Government
Population Growth The population grew from 0.3 to 18 million people.
Bluebird This is the state bird.
Rose This is the state flower.
Maple Tree This is the state tree.
Beaver This is the state animal.
Apple Muffin This is the state food.
Industries and Economy    The Industries are printing, publishing, industrial machinery, equipment, and instruments. The economy are finance, international trade, communication, fashion, tourists, and farming.
Interesting Facts It took 31 years to build the state capital in Albany. The Empire State Building opened in 1931.
New York City This is the city where the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty are located.
Statue of Liberty This Statue was given by the French.
Castle Clinton This fort protected New York City from the British.
Brooklyn Bridge
Empire State Building The world tallest building for 40 years.
The MET The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It is a really beautiful museum.
Central Park It is a huge park in downtown New York City.
Wall Street  It is the home of the New York Stock Exchange.
Yankees This is the New York Yankees logo.
Seal This is the state seal. At the bottom it says EXCELSIOR. Which means EVER HIGHER.

The State flag has ships on the Hudson River. There is the sun that represents Duke’s emblem. There is a eagle on top of a globe. The two women on the sides represent liberty and justice. The women on the right is blind and is holding a balance and a sword. The women at the left is holding a stick. What is on the State Flag?
Conclusion During the State report I learned so many things about New York. I learned that New York isn’t just busy streets but there are also plantations in rural areas. Overall New York is a really attractive state because it has lot diversity. New York has also played a very important role in the history of the United States. So remember, you should go to New York when you have time because there is so much to see.
