This document outlines a program called One City One Team One Family that utilizes professional athletes to teach life skills to children through basketball. The program involves children attending basketball games and being assigned to after school programs visited twice monthly by players. During these visits, players participate in basketball activities that teach life skills and healthy lifestyles. The program serves children ages 7-11 in Netanya, Israel from disadvantaged backgrounds. The responsibilities of players include being role models, arriving on time and dressed appropriately, bringing positive energy, and participating. Players benefit by giving back to the community, developing coaching skills, building their brand, and forming relationships.
