Dr. Navaid's unique version of an extensive eye examination (EEE) evaluates both subjective and objective measures of eye health and function. The examination assesses visual acuity, color vision, visual fields, and more through subjective patient reporting. Through objective observation, the physician evaluates features of the face, eyes, orbits, lacrimal system, lids, conjunctiva, episclera, sclera, cornea, anterior chamber, iris, pupils, lens, and posterior segment. A variety of testing techniques are used including pen light exam, slit lamp exam with different lenses, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy, and streak retinoscopy to manually find refractive errors.
