Ebou Jobe is a 3rd year software engineering student at McGill University who develops iOS and Android apps. Native modules in React Native enable high performance features like image processing by accessing platform APIs and sensors. Building native modules avoids congesting the JavaScript-native bridge by keeping data flat and minimizing cross-bridge passes. Modules define native methods and constants that are called from JavaScript, while native UI components render views.

Node.JS briefly introduced

Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.

After a couple of years, Facebook and other known companies using React Native in large scale apps, the team decided to change RN architecture.
They call it - "Project Fabric". It suppose to solve all the gaps they found in the last couple of years containing: direct reference between JS and Native side, Lazy loaded native modules and a whole new Lean Core for the library.
