NATIONAL VEA TEAM
FORCES TO DEFEAT VETERAN
UNEMPLOYMENT & HOMELESSNESS
Our Mission
The mission of the Veterans Employment Alliance is to extend
a helping hand to homeless men and women Veterans who
are addressing the challenges of:
 Unemployment 
 Housing 
 Career Training 
 Career Direction
and will commit themselves to sobriety, non-violence, and
working for personal change. We will be the most recognized
private veterans transition programs in America. Our goal is to
eliminate homelessness among our fellow warriors and we will
leave no one behind.
The VEA Center
In addition to the complex set of factors affecting the homeless
population...job layoffs, substance abuse, and an extreme
shortage of affordable housing and lack of access to health
care...a large number of displaced and at-risk veterans live with
lingering effects of combat related post-traumatic stress disorder
(PTSD). These hardships, often compounded by loss of family
and social support networks, make the issue of homelessness a
difficult challenge. Our belief in Veterans helping Veterans
through shared experiences and treating the whole individual –
mentally, physically and spiritually – is why our program will be
successful in empowering homeless veterans and families in
crisis to embrace and maintain independent living and self-
sufficiency.
Through the VEA CENTER, you can start a new career or
expand on your current skills. We offer training in many areas
that will lead to a career.
Let us help you unlock the door to a career!
WE CARE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE
ARE YOU STRUGGLING TO FIND
EMPLOYMENT AND FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BACK
IN
THEN YOU NEED TO REQUEST A TRANSFER
TO VETERANS CAREER CAMP
In these tough economic times, it takes more than a cookie-
cutter resume, a few references, and a work history to land a
job. The VEA system will teach you how to get on the “A” list
and become THE candidate for the new opportunity.
Our system is successful because we assist you with:
 Teaching you to find a career through the eyes of
the employer
 Uncovering skills and abilities necessary to obtain
employment
 Penetrating the hidden job market
 Making you a valuable resource sought out by
others
The need is great. For veterans returning from service in the
Global War on Terror with severe injuries such as amputation or
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), readjustment and reintegration into
their families and communities can be difficult. Of the nearly
200,000 service members currently serving in Iraq and
Afghanistan more than 33,000 have been wounded. In tough
economic times the more than two million troops who served
after 9/11 will also eventually return home to face difficult
financial hardships and mounting bills.
The VEA Center is committed to ensuring that Veterans and
Families in Crisis achieve their full potential for self-
sufficiency. Providing Veterans with a career and a variety of
affordable, comfortable and safe housing options is our
mission.
