1. MY VACATION
Every day we live different events: happy, sad or surprising
Hello my name is Maria and I will tell you what I did on my summer vacation with my
husband's family and I traveled to the city of Supe (Barranca), my nephew was driving
the car, when we arrived at the place it was a beautiful day of sun, we arrived at the house
of the grandmother of the family that they had in supe, that's where we stayed and I met
the cousins, she gave us a taste of a delicious tamales, a typical local roll, and then we
talked about the beautiful place of supe, it's at north of the city of Lima.
The next day we went to the beach or at lunch time we bathed in the sea and took walks
listening to music and we also visited the pool where we played and prepared a delicious
barbecue and at night, they organized a baptism where they invited us to dance and eat
and then We went to sleep, the next day there was talk of killing a pig to prepare the rich
filling for breakfast and pig to the Chinese box for lunch, so they began to cut the meat
and prepare the filling. Afterwards we went to walk around the place to visit family, so
we could get to know the place and remember it much better. There was a seafood contest
where the whole family went and we enthusiastically applauded the winning couple, then
we visited a place where they eat delicious food. Monday was a cousin's saint's day,
relatives travel from Lima to Supe, they arrived early and everything was already being
prepared, the cousin buys the cake and also the wine. That's how the party began where
we all had to eat, drink, dance and sing because in a good sense of the word we got upset
and then the cousin blew out the candle and then the rockets exploded. Then the guests
had to travel, it was a great weekend where they enjoyed the fresh air.
The next day we went to the beach. The water was crystal clear and there were some rocks
to catch crabs. The last day my brothers-in-law were going to come, but the road was
horrible and they couldn't, so we went to the mall to buy some things.
2. The next day we had to travel because my husband had to work, the days that remained I
spent at home preparing our favorite food, and in my last week of vacation I woke up
quite early. We would have breakfast; I would take the food and we would go to the
beach. We didn't get back until six in the evening. Afterwards we had dinner and went
out to try a delicious coffee and talk about our project. One day we went for a walk around
Lunahuaná, we went shopping, I bought a t-shirt, a book to study, I was able to choose a
place to eat a delicious dry soup with carapulcra and I was able to finish it, you can't
imagine how good it was. It was a lived experience of being able to meet, build and
increase a beautiful family relationship.
