The poet moved from a large town to Falmouth to attend university. They dressed up in costumes and made new friends in their classes, including Jono, Rob, and Carolyn. While at university, the poet has enjoyed drinking and going on trips, like one to London, but these activities have taken a financial toll and left them feeling quite poor. Overall, the poet is enjoying their year at Falmouth university despite the costs.

1. Falmouth

2. I moved down to Falmouth,
From a rather large town,
I dressed up as a pirate,
And a Psycho mime clown!

3. I went into class, with book, pen,
And bag too.
I met Jono, Rob and Carolyn,
A pretty awesome crew!

4. Now while I’ve been at uni,
I’ve drank some things a plenty,
They make my eyes go swirly,
And my hangovers quite lengthy!

5. We booked our trip to London,
With a plan on what to do.
We caught the coach at 03:30,
That’s in the AM too.

6. I’ve spent a lot of money,
I don’t know what on or for,
But now my financial status is..
Well, to be honest quite poor.

7. So that’s my time at Falmouth!
