The huge, noisy, and cosmopolitan city has many iconic landmarks like Westminster Abbey, where kings and queens are buried, and Trafalgar Square, known as the heart of London. Popular attractions include Buckingham Palace, home of the Queen; Saint James's Park next to the palace; Harrods department store known for its chocolate pirate ship window display; and Madame Tussauds wax museum showing figures of famous people. London Zoo is also very large, though one day there was not enough time to see all the animals.
