Qualifications:
 Diploma of Associate Engineering (Instrumentation & Process Control) with
1st
division (69%) in 2012 from Sindh board of technical education.
 Matric (Science) with “A” Grade (70%) in 2006 from board of secondary
education Karachi.
Technical Qualification:
 Two years technical training from (2007 to 2009) as a process operator from
MTC (Metallurgical Training center) of Pakistan Steel mills and one year on job

Professional Experience:
After successful training now I am working on Air Separation Plant as a process
operator in Pakistan Steel Mills since 17-03-2009. I have working experience almost five

2. years in startup, shutdown & all operations of Air Separation Plant and I can also
supervise these jobs.
Duties/ tasks & key responsiblities:
My key responsibilities involve the operating of following equipments;
 Centrifugal isothermal air compressors (cap 42500Nm³/h )
 Reciprocating Oxygen compressors (cap 5500Nm³/h)
 Reciprocating nitrogen compressors (cap 250Nm³/h)
 Turbines/ Expanders (Cap 3500-4000 m3/hr)
 Distillation column
 Heat exchangers (Shell and tube type, fins type and plate type)
Following Centrifugal type of pumps and handling different fluids:
 Sea water pump (Capacity 1800 m3/hr), Industrial water pump (Capacity 250
m3/hr), Fresh water pump (Capacity 45 m3/hr), Oxygen liquid pump (Capacity
6000 lit/hr), Nitrogen liquid pump.
 Inspect, maintain and repair pumps, valves, motors and other equipment
located in lift stations and other points within the wastewater collection and
transmission system.
 Inspect, maintain and repair pumps, valves, motors and other equipment
located in pumping stations and at water storage facilities.
 Operates the above equipments compressors, pumps and auxiliary equipments
efficiently and economically.
 Monitors meters, gauges, and recording instrument charts to ensure specified
temperature, pressure, and flow of gas through system.
 Operates equipment to control transmission of gases through pipelines to the
consumers.
 Handle the trouble shootings while operating the above equipments.
 Conducts chemical tests to evaluate quality of gas.
 Performs minor repairs on equipment, using hand tools.
 Operates adsorption bottles and filters to purify fluid streams.
 Records instrument readings and operational changes in operating log.
 Connect pipelines between pumps and containers that are being filled or
emptied.
