Mozambique has an estimated 23 billion tonnes of coking and thermal coal reserves, making it one of the most promising emerging coal sectors globally. However, developing the necessary port and rail infrastructure to export this coal has faced challenges that raise questions about how quickly these reserves can be utilized. An upcoming conference will discuss the development of infrastructure projects and dynamics of the buyer's market as Mozambique looks to increase coal exports in the coming years.

can be fully utilised.
