Moodtrak is a proposed system to track and analyze moods of individuals and groups through their social media updates and posts. It would allow users to input their mood, see their friends' moods, and view aggregated mood analytics for groups they belong to. Moodtrak would use natural language processing to predict moods from status updates on Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms. It aims to provide insights into collective group intelligence and morale through anonymous aggregated mood data.
