MODULAR SYSTEM FURNITURE
FURNITURE DESIGN IV
WHAT IS SYSTEM ??
• System process input signals to produce output signals.
• A system is combination of elements that manipulates one or
more singles to accomplish a function and produce some
output.
• Systems design is the process of defining the architecture,
modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specified
requirements. Systems design could be seen as the application
of systems theory to product developmen.
What is Modular Design System?
• Modular design, or modularity in design, is a design principle that
subdivides a system into smaller parts called modules (such as
modular process skids), which can be independently created,
modified, replaced, or exchanged with other modules or between
different systems.
MODULAR SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS
