A modular network is a geometric structure composed of repeated, interconnected figures or modules that together cover a surface. Modular structures are found in nature and architecture. To create a modular stamp network, a single module shape is drawn on paper and transferred to a rubber plate, where a gouge removes unwanted areas to leave a raised stamp which can then be inked and printed to replicate the module across a surface.

network is?
A modular network is a structure in
which a series of equal or similar
figures are related. This structure,
generally geometric, is like a mesh,
of triangular or rectangular shapes,
which cover the entere surface of
the work.

16. Stamps
We will transfer the module
to a rubber stamp. For this
we need a gouge and a
rubber plate.

17. Firstly we will draw the module on a parchment paper and
we will pass it to a rubber plate.

18. We will remove with the gouge the surface that we do not
want to appear on the paper.

19. With a roller we will cover the finished rubber stamp with paint and stamp it against the paper.
