2. MODEL TRAINING CYCLE TRAINING FOR TIMOTHY “ Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me , in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus . That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” (2 Timothy 1:13,14) Training that reproduces generations of disciples, leaders and churches follows a pattern, or MODEL . The apostle Paul gave Timothy a model to imitate that was reproduced over and over again in others. (2 Tim. 2:2) Paul said, “ Imitate me , just as I also imitate Christ .” (I Corinthians 11:1) The MODEL process for training comes from New Testament patterns taught / modeled by Jesus, the apostles and Paul. If we want to see churches reproduce themselves and multiply, we must intentionally train for reproduction. We must model a Biblical pattern that is easily imitated and reproduced…

3. MODEL How did Paul leave a reproducing church in Thessalonica after only three weeks? (Acts 17:1-10) He left a pattern for them to follow… M odel “…you became followers of us and of the Lord…” (1 Thess. 1:5,6) O bserve “…you became examples to all…we do not need to say anything.” (1 Thess. 1:7,8) D elegate “…commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Tim. 2:2) E ncourage “But you must continue in the things which you have learned…” and (2 Tim. 3:10-17) L eave “For this reason I left you…appoint elders in every city…” (Titus 1:5-9) “ For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place .” (1 Thess. 1:8a)

MODEL Trainer’s Life & Teaching Based on Word of God is the Model 1 Cor. 11:1 1 Cor. 4:16,17 2 Tim. 3:16-17 Training Cycle for Reproducing Disciples, Leaders and Churches Inner Circle of Training Cycle represents what happens between the Trainer and his small group of Trainees Trainees can be a House Church, a Small Group, or a Group of Church Planters (or could be a combination). They are committed to becoming Trainers of Trainers!

Trainees become Trainers of others and reproduce New Disciples, Leaders and Churches
