MIX is a monthly platform organized by MoneyTree for university students to pitch their business ideas to investors and employers for feedback and potential funding. Students must register and undergo pitching training. They will then have 3.5 minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of judges and answer questions. The best pitch wins a cash prize and opportunity to develop their business idea further. The event aims to give students experience pitching their ideas and make connections with potential employers or investors.

Register with MoneyTree ( Registration procedures on registration form ) Have gone through a 1 hour Pitching Training conducted by MoneyTree Prepare a 210-second (3 and a Half Minute) Elevator Pitch for your Business Idea Present the Elevator Pitch to a Panel of Judges 5 - Minute Q & A session by Judges where judges would scrutinize the idea Best Elevator Pitch Wins Prize Money AND a chance to join the YES Platform to start a FULL Fledged Business (MIX happens once a month)

Profile of Target Audience University / College Undergraduates (17 – 24 years old) Undergraduates who want to get a chance to showcase their talents & business ideas, AND Ultimately, get an opportunity to start a REAL Full-Fledged business Undergraduates who view MIX as a platform for them to gain exposure, expand their networks, gain experience and obtain the skill sets required to be market-ready graduates

Profile of Target Audience Investors – Who are interested in investing in new ideas / ventures (either in cash or in kind) by young aspiring entrepreneurs Organizations / Corporations – As a Talent Tapping platform for them to tap young, market-ready undergraduates who possess the skills sets required to assist them in bringing their organizations to greater heights

Criteria for Participation in MIX To participate in MIX, one must either: Be a Maybank MoneyTree YES Challenge participant, OR Be a MoneyTree Entrepreneur Program graduate, OR Have gone through a 1-hour MoneyTree “Pitching” training session (conducted once every month) – Undergraduates would have to register with MoneyTree for this AND Have paid the Registration Fees for MIX

10. MIX Selection Process Only Teams that have passed the MIX Selection Process would be eligible to Pitch in front of the Judges. To be eligible, the team’s pitch must: Adhere to the strict Pitching Rules, i.e. No Politics, Religion, Foul Language, Obscenities or raising sensitive issues Address Key points of a Business Pitch, i.e. Product / Service, Commercial Viability, Market Needs, Revenue Model, Management Team, Competitive Advantage, Barriers to Entry, Competitors and Scalability Be approved by the MoneyTree Panelists (A Maximum of 8 teams would be allowed to Pitch at any one session)

MIX Participation Fees Participation Fees for MIX as follows: YES Challenge & MoneyTree Entrepreneur Program Participants: - Audience : RM 10 per pax - Pitching Team: RM 25 per team (consists of 3 – 4 members) Others (students): - Audience : RM 15 per pax - Pitching Team: RM 35 per team (consists of 3 – 4 members) Invited Guests, Representatives of Corporations & Sponsors: - No Charge (Registration Fees include refreshments)
