2. FORGET OLD OUTDATED
COACHING & LESSONS
It is time that golfers learn and understand how Neuro-Science can help
them create an awesome game of golf.
This is new era thinking and the use of Neural Linguistic Programming to
help your mind learn better, see what is hidden better, memorize better and
visualize for great scoring is the objective and final outcome.

3. I SPOKE WITH A GOLFER
WHO HAD A 7 HANDICAP
He gave a bunch of excuses why he could not progress
further with his game. He had the skill to be a below par golfer:
wife, jobs, kids, and scared to make changes was holding him
back. He told coach he did not want to think so in-depth about
his golf game. Coach told him the best golfers analyze every
part of their game, commit to it, and learn how to use Neuro-
Science to practice & play awesome golf.
Neuro-Science and practice with cognitive psychology is
what this golfer failed to understand he needed. His negative
excuses defeated him. Afraid to do some hard work? Unwilling
to pay the price? GOLF is TOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. GOLF IS PRACTICED WITH THE
CONSCIOUS MIND
In golf practice a specific set of routine scheduled practice exercises occur. Focused on
putting or irons play.
Edinburgh Golf believes Neuro-Science & Cognitive Psychology based golf equipment
design with practice enhances student learning.
The golfer and coach analyze each part of the game highlighting the golfer’s strengths
and weaknesses. A schedule for change & learning is followed. Trying to unlearn past
problems, re-learn good habits, are all emphasized via science based practice.
For example putting practice includes hitting putts from 3 feet and 6 feet only. 30 minute
blocks of time with specific targets are included.
Visualization is critical.

5. SO WHEN DOES THE SUBCONSCIOUS
MIND APPEAR IN YOUR GOLF GAME
If you do not know how and when to apply the conscious golf principles learned in practice, you do not
understand the critical pathway the subconscious golf game requires for success.
This is key to wining and getting benefit from your other parts of the game.
Self talk is critical here and how one controls their mind in driving, irons play and putting will dictate
their final round scores on the course..

7. LOW SCORES ARE NOT
ALL YOUR FAULT
Golf is over saturated with too much info and too many terrible coaches.
The PGA admits that is why so many golfers are stuck, can’t improve their
game, and are frustrated and angry.
Let Dr. Dunkley help you change that. He has coached many golfers,
written a book about the INNER GAME of golf and has taken Neuro-Science
to design practice, equipment, and brave new golf games.

8. VISUALIZATION
During the 1980s Chuck Hogan a golf coach became the “Guru of Visualization” for his golfers. His
PGA Tour players won several major golf tournaments during his reign as master of visualization
techniques.
His famous purple worms idea had the media criticizing his teaching process. Chuck was spot on!
Turning golf into a super-learning cognitive psychology process long before the power of Neuro-Science
was recognized. Dr. Dunkley utilizes the “Swinging Elephant” and “Diving Pelican” insights for golfers in
his visualization guides. There are several other examples all designed to help add some fun back into the
game with serious learning techniques a by-product.
Dr. Dunkley designed Putt-Rite a practice method that involves a “White Dot” for student
visualization processes and putting excellence.
9. INITIAL INNER GAME PUTTING STEPS
1) Review Putter set-up is your line into the hole parallel to your feet? Do
you feel comfortable over the ball? Is the head of your putter square
90degrees when it hits the ball? It is CRITICAL you hit your ball the
same spot every time you putt!!!!!
2) Practice from 3 feet and 6 feet only. Find a flat green for initial practice.
3) Maximum time to practice is 30 minutes.
4) DO NOT HIT ANY PRACTICE PUTTS FROM DISTANCES OTHER THAN 3
FEET or 6 Feet. This is day 1.
5) Day 2 Putting Practice from 6 FEET and 9 FEET only. Same time frame.
6) Day 3 Putting Practice is 12 feet these are LAG PUTTS just try to get
close to the hole!! Time frame 30 minutes.
7) Purchase PUTT-RITE putting target to add into your putting!!!!
