Mike Tyson was influenced as a boxer by Muhammad Ali and his trainer Cus D'Amato. He had an unusual boxing style of entering the ring barefoot in simple black shorts. Tyson had early success as a professional boxer, winning his first 15 fights including becoming the youngest heavyweight champion at age 20 by defeating Trevor Berbik. However, his career saw a decline due to scandals and legal issues, including a prison sentence for rape in 1992. After being released from prison in 1995, Tyson continued boxing professionally until 2005 but was no longer able to achieve the same level of success.
