Human migration refers to the physical movement of humans between different areas, sometimes over long distances or in large groups. Migrant workers often move from areas with low standards of living and lack of jobs to find work, make money, or join new communities, sometimes working seasonally during harvest times. In 1945, Turks migrated to Germany to help rebuild the country as there was a need for extra labor since there were more jobs than available German workers. Within the UK, people migrated from rural to urban areas, and regionally within the country from 1930-1980, with some later moving from major cities to smaller towns due to factors like employment opportunities, housing, family status, environment, and social issues.
