Mignon is a proud South African who has a passion for
marketing, sport and a will to succeed. Her leadership is
undisputed, becoming one of the youngest National Team
Captains in 2011. Her high energy levels and attention to
detail is second nature.
As a contracted CSA player and semi-professional sports
woman, Mignon has travelled extensively and has first-hand
experience of the importance of brand
awareness within the professional sporting
arena. As role model she comprehends the
responsibility that comes with brand association.
Apart from performing well in all spheres of life,
Mignon has a balanced lifestyle. She has
received acknowledgement from business, public
and private sector in this regard.
Mignon’s achievements up to date, is due to
persistence, a sense of responsibility, attention
to detail, teamwork skills, creative thinking and
leadership skills.
As a result of Mignon’s international exposure
her public relations and management skills have
developed to a fine art. She has featured in
promotional productions, countless television and
media interviews. Her ability to communicate
comfortably with stake-holders, supporters,
public and media stand her in good stead for
representing a quality brand.
She has become known in the media as the
“Female face of Cricket” with thousands of
followers in many parts of the world. On many occasions
Mignon has been a guest speaker and her social media
following has grown exponentially.

2016 – Women’s Cricket on the rise…
ICC World T20 in India March 2016
Played in my 5th consecutive T20 World Cup.
On returning from 2016 WC, I announced my intention to
focus on my batting going forward (in preparation for our 2017
ODI World Cup campaign). Thus, I’ve requested to be relieved
of my captaincy after leading SA in 97 matches.
CSA created a ‘brand identity’ for the Momentum Proteas
giving us our own branded bus for the tour against England.
2016 continued…
First Home televised series Feb & March 2016
All the T20’s of our tour against ENG & WI were televised live
on SuperSport & all these games were curtain raisers for the
mens’ T20’s against ENG & AUS.
ENG in SA Feb 2016
The Momentum Proteas beat ENG for the first time
in over 10 years in an ODI & the very first time ever
in a T20.
Became the first South African Women’s Cricketer to
reach 1000 T20 Runs.
WI in SA March 2016
We also won the T20 series 2-1 against WI, whilst
never beating them in a T20 before.

We are currently in 4th place with 6 games to go.
