Avinash Rachmale is an engineer and founder of Lakeshore Engineering in Detroit who also has a strong interest in medicine. He is a member and volunteer of the Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage (MAPI), which was created in 1976 to represent medical professionals of Indian descent. MAPI operates a no-cost health clinic in Lathrup Village, Michigan that serves the local community for common medical needs without providing emergency or obstetric care. The MAPI Charitable Clinic is open most Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm for walk-in patients or by appointment.

 Lakeshore Engineering founder and President
Avinash Rachmale lives and works in Detroit,
Michigan. In addition to engineering, he has an
intense interest in medicine. Accordingly, Avinash
Rachmale is a member and active volunteer with the
Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian
Heritage.
The Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian
Heritage (MAPI) represents medical professionals of
Indian descent. The organization, which was created
in 1976, eventually grew into the larger American
Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

3. MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICIANS
 Association physicians operate a no-cost health clinic
in Lathrup Village, Michigan, which serves the
surrounding community. Adult patients from a variety
of backgrounds can come for assistance with
common medical needs. The MAPI Charitable Clinic
does not provide emergency or obstetric care but
tends to a wide range of concerns, such as arthritis,
diabetes, and high blood pressure.
The MAPI Clinic, located on Southfield Road in
Lathrup Village, is open most Saturdays from 9 am to
1 pm. Walk-in patients are welcome, or appointments
can be made by calling the clinic.
