Avinash Rachmale is an engineer and founder of Lakeshore Engineering in Detroit who also has a strong interest in medicine. intense interest in medicine. Accordingly, Avinash
Rachmale is a member and active volunteer with the
Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian
Heritage.
The Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian

in 1976, eventually grew into the larger American
Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

Association physicians operate a no-cost health clinic
in Lathrup Village, Michigan, which serves the

of backgrounds can come for assistance with
common medical needs. The MAPI Charitable Clinic
does not provide emergency or obstetric care but

Lathrup Village, is open most Saturdays from 9 am to
