Jack in the Box lacked an effective inventory control system which led to poor customer satisfaction, loss of loyalty, and declining revenue as shelves were not properly stocked and ingredients weren't reordered. To address this, they implemented a total quality management system including a new inventory system, better communication between employees, training programs, and frequent supply ordering to improve inventory levels, customer satisfaction, and regain their positive reputation.
