Michael Punzo is an excellent candidate for admission to the university. In my Public Speaking class, Michael engulfed himself in all assignments. In one speech, he
discussed how the 911 tragedy inspired him to leave the business world to pursue a career in
education. In another, he guided students through the intricate details of buying a home. As the
nation slowly recovers from recession, this speech provided timely information for those looking
to purchase a house in this challenging market.
Not only was he a joy to have in class, but Michael’s extracurricular activities also makes him
popular with students, staff, and faculty. As the current Student Government Association
President, Michael and his staff have launched several innovative programs to get students more
involved on campus as well as helping them prepare for life after Richmond Community
College. His wealth of knowledge allows him to hold vivid and colorful conversations on a
variety of subjects. Michael is friendly and interesting. I’m certain he will bring his love of
humanity and his zest for learning to your campus.
