Drummond Bell III​
Senior Advisor​
Drummond serves in a senior advisory role for Persient, with more than 40 years of
business leadership experience. Throughout his career, he has focused on transportation,
manufacturing and real estate operations, as well as restructuring businesses. His
professional background includes running his own business consulting group as well as
serving as managing director of FIL Partners, Inc., director and CEO of Gamewear Team
Sports, partner with McFarland Dewey, and past director of Dynamic Metal Forming,
SDC International, Tubular Corporation of America, The Slater Companies and General
Trailers Ltd. (the largest tractor trailer producer in Europe.) He also held various
leadership positions at USX Corporation (U.S. Steel), Mosbacher-Jacobs Properties, Inc.,
KCS Industries and Fruehauf Trailer. He is past chairman of the board of Clearpool, Inc.,
a public/private educational program in inner-city New York, and has served on the board
for numerous other philanthropic and entrepreneurial organizations.

Ashish Jariwala
Founder | Managing Director
Ashish is personally involved with every Persient client, putting his 20+ years of
experience to work to help them achieve the best realizable value. He started his career as
an entrepreneur in industrial manufacturing, before selling his business to a public
company and moving into investment banking. He has advised dozens of middle-market,
family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, private and public companies, multinational
companies, ESOPs and management groups. But he has never forgotten what it feels like
to be on the business-owner’s side of the table, including the anxiety and self-doubt that
comes with navigating the M&A process alone. He earned a Master of Business
Administration degree in banking and finance from Case Western Reserve University and
holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from SEC/FINRA.

Brian Gallagher, CPA​
Senior Vice President
Brian is an experienced M&A advisory professional and licensed Certified Public
Accountant in the State of California. With 10 years of experience across boutique middle-
market investment banking and Big Four financial services, he uniquely understands the
issues business owners and companies face when undergoing a merger or acquisition. He
has advised on transactions for a wide range of clients across various industries, working
with entrepreneurs, family-owned and privately held businesses, private equity and
corporate buyers, and also has experience with IPOs, divestitures, and complex financial
reporting. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ohio University
and Series 63 and 79 licenses from SEC/FINRA.

Alan McFarland
Senior Advisor
Alan’s experience covers a range of investment banking activities including general
corporate advisory work on financial strategies, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures,
public and private financings, venture capital, project financings, tax shelters, securities
analysis, and corporate restructurings. His extensive career includes serving as Director
for many public and private corporations and leadership roles with several high-profile
legal and financial services firms, including McFarland Dewey, DLJ, Lehman Brothers,
and Lazard Frères. He holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Yale Law School and a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale College.
