This presentation was given to the merchants group to share our 2010 plans, help them see the value of our organization, and to launch new attractions in our downtown.
The Woman's Club of Winter Park is a century old non-profit organization with weekly lectures and silver tea each Thursday from October to April. We have small fundraisers during the year specifically for small businesses to sell their products and services. Our building at Lyman and Interlachen is a wonderful venue for seminars, lectures, board meetings and social occasions. Each year, we provide as many as fifteen $3,000 scholarships to undergraduates, and untold volunteer hours and contributions to local charities. Women from Central Florida who share our goals, are welcome to join us. We will have our 100th birthday party in the spring. Look for announcements on our web site and facebook page.
