Word problem # 1PRROBLEMSOLUTIONIf Pedro spends 9.0 quarts of water washing his hands in 1 minute and he washes them in 3 minutes 4 times a day, how many water does he spends in a week?. So you have to multiply 9.0 times 3 because in 1 minute you spend 9.0p quarts and Pedro spend 3 minutes so the result is 27.0 and then you multiply that by 4 because he does it 4 times a day and the answer is 108.0 and then you multiply 108.0 by 7 because the week has 7 days and the answer is 756.0. In conclusion Pedro spends 756.0 quarts of water in a week.
