In the last message of chapter 9 the power, authority and compassion of Jesus is on display once again. After the miracle of raising Jairus’ daughter from the dead in the Capernaum people are flocking to Jesus. Wherever Christ goes there is always a crowd, which catches the attention of two blind men that seek to be healed by Jesus when they cry out for his mercy. Rather than heal them on the spot, Jesus tests their faith to see if they are following him only for his miracles or because they believe he is the Messiah. Jesus’ question to them, “do you believe I am able to do this” reveals the true nature of their heart when they immediately respond “yes, Lord.” In that moment, their faith becomes their sight for they are physically and spiritually healed. This healing teaches us to examine our own spiritual eyesight and to see if it is growing stronger or weaker. After the two men leave a demon oppressed man who is mute is brought to the feet of Jesus and without hesitation, he casts the demon out on the spot. This culmination of miracles has led the crowds to say, “nothing like this has ever happened in Israel before.” Not everyone is convinced that Jesus has the power and authority of God. The Pharisees attribute all his healings to the power of the devil. It is here they approach the threshold of the unpardonable sin. But Jesus does not let his critics stand in the way nor does it stop him from having compassion on the multitudes and ministering to them where they are. Our Lord knows he can’t do it all by himself so he enlists the disciples to pray that God would send laborers into the field to harvest souls. A request that God will surely honor. The principle for us is, which field is the Lord calling us to work in? The one next door or around the world?

It mentions that Moses, Aaron and Samuel called on God's name and he answered them, speaking through a pillar of cloud. The psalm calls the people to tremble before God, exalt and praise his name, and worship at his footstool, as he is a just and forgiving ruler over Israel.
Psalm90
Psalm 90 outlines timely principles for living with an eternal God. It begins by establishing that God has been a dwelling place for generations and existed before creation. Then it notes that humans lives are short like grass compared to God's eternity. Finally, it prescribes principles like acknowledging God as creator and sovereign, living wisely in light of our brevity, and finding satisfaction in God. The overall message is that understanding God's eternal nature should constantly influence how we live.
Psalm63
The psalmist expresses a deep longing and thirst for God, having seen God's power and glory. Though in a dry land without water, the psalmist finds satisfaction in God alone and praise God at all times. When remembering God, the psalmist meditates on God for comfort, as God has provided help in the past. The psalm promises that those who cling to God will be delivered and upheld, while those who seek to destroy the righteous will be judged.
Psalm46
This document is a summary of Psalm 46 which discusses cultivating a quiet heart. It outlines obstacles to a quiet heart such as trouble, change, and wars. It then gives invitations to a quiet heart by knowing that God is our refuge, strength, and help. God brings peace and is exalted. The commands are to come, behold God's works, cease striving and know that God is God. The overall message is that nothing outside of us should disturb our inner peace that comes from God.
Psalm42 43

Psalm32
This psalm describes how sin leads to unhappiness but forgiveness restores joy. It says:
1) Keeping sin secret makes one waste away in grief, but confessing sin to God brings forgiveness and relief from guilt.
2) The righteous should pray to God especially during troubles, for God protects them from harm.
3) God instructs the righteous in the right path and shields them from sorrow, while the wicked face many troubles.
Psalm23
Psalm 23 is a song about God as the shepherd who provides for and protects His flock. It describes how the LORD is the shepherd who leads the psalmist to rest in green pastures and quiet waters, restoring their soul. Even in the darkest valleys, the shepherd's staff and rod bring comfort so that no evil can be feared. God prepares a table and anoints the psalmist's head, so that goodness and mercy will follow all the days of their life as they dwell in God's house forever under the care and protection of their shepherd.
Psalm1
The document provides a prescription for happiness based on Psalm 1. It advises to make good choices by watching one's walk, stance, and seat - avoiding the counsel of the wicked, path of sinners, and seat of scoffers. It also advises choosing godly companions through wise counsel and watching one's pleasures.
