My objective is to gain employment in my field of study and area of work particularly in ports and
shipping as well as oil and gas within both the logistics, supply chain and transport industry.
I am equippedwith an in-depth knowledge and skills in business development and strategic planning
coupledwith several yearsof practical experience inmaritime administration, port operation, ship and
logisticsmanagement,strategicdevelopment andengineering planning, cargo handling as well as sales

WORK EXPERIENCE
I have worked in almost all the various departments and section including Commercial, Traffic,
Operations and Logistics, Estates and currently at the Marine Operations Departments.
I am currently the substantive PortSuperintendent at Volta Lake Transport Company, a limited liability
company duly registered under the laws of Ghana and carrying on transport business mainly via
shipping.
My work schedules inter alia include the following:

 Management of the ships and crew
 Soliciting for cargo and sales of slot
 Ensuring that safety standards and navigational requirements are met,
 Supervising loading and discharging operations on fuel jetties and cargo terminals,
 Monitoring the activities of the outstations,
 Providing logistical support and coordinating the activities of the marine engineering team
 Providing administrative and technical support to consultants and company on ship building and
port facility projects, among others.

 I have eight (8) years working experience in an inland port and fuel barge operations, managing
ships, ports operations and cargo handling.
 I didmy national service at the said Volta Lake Transport Company during the national service year
in 2007/2008 and have since been retained by the company.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I hold a Master’s Degree in port and Shipping Administration from University of Ghana – Legon within
the Republic of Ghana.
And a Bachelor of Science Degree in Port and Shipping Administration from the Regional Maritime
University also located in the Republic of Ghana aforesaid.
I pursued Business Accounting at Yilo Krobo Senior Secondary School located in the Eastern Region of
Ghana.
