Mardi Gras Part of Hollywood FL Charity Event
Mardi Gras Casino and the Mardi Gras Krewe participated in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s
Hospital Dedication Ceremony and Parade on Saturday, July 16th. Our
Showgirls and Showboys were on hand dressed in Parade themes: an Angel
representing Dreams, a Baseball Player representing Sports, an Artist
representing the Arts and a Jester representing Games. The Parade was
followed by a Celebration on the grounds of the newly built Joe DiMaggio’s
Children’s Hospital.

DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Established in 1992, Joe DiMaggio Children's
Hospital ranks in the nation's top 1 to 2% in patient satisfaction and has
become a beloved community medical facility. Mardi Gras Casino has
demonstrated its commitment to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital
through the years and was proud donate time and efforts toward this
unique Hollywood event.

2. Mardi Gras is committed to other children’s charities as well. The casino
has played host last year to the aptly named, "Smiles 4 Laughs", comedy
night which was a major Hollywood FL event, motivating patrons to open
their wallets and hearts in support of the Miami Children’s Hospital and Big
Bike Riders Children’s Foundation two South Florida champions for
children.
