Iskra STIK specializes in manufacturing electrical contact assemblies using resistance welding technology. They have two new welding lines that can produce large batches while guaranteeing quality. The company can assist with development, prototyping, testing, and mass production of contact assemblies. Iskra d.d., one of the founding
companies of Iskra STIK d.o.o., has a
long tradition of making contact
assemblies. The production started in
the city of Kranj in 1947 when the first
switch was developed. From then
onwards, Iskra continued with the
production of contact assemblies that
are among the key elements in low
voltage switchgear.
Our company, Iskra STIK, specializes in the manufacture of contact assemblies by using the technology of
resistance welding. Recently we acquired two new welding lines with which we can guarantee the quality of
manufacturing large batches of contact assemblies.
Our welding lines are equipped with
two presses driven by a servomotor.
An inverter welding unit is placed
between the two presses. This
method allows a greater flexibility
and shorter manufacturing time.
We produce contact assemblies with
contact carrier materials like copper,
brass, copper-plated steel, of a
thickness up to 2.5 mm and a width
up to 120 mm, and with electrical
contact materials according to
customer specifications: wire, strip,
plate (AgNi, AgSnO2, AgC, AgW ...).
We can propose to cooperate with you in the following areas: development, prototyping, testing and
manufacturing of large batches. In development and testing, we work closely with our parent company, which has
a modern, well-equipped laboratory for testing switchgear.
