When thinking about the What is the biggest public problem , its important to identify and adress the needs of these soft spoken, and gentel animals, who feel pain and sufferring just like anyone else.
September 28 – 9:00am appointment to dentist when I notices something barely moving from a distance in the middle of the road..and my husband was just in time to wheel the car on the left to avoid hitting the thing. I immediately jumped out of the car while my husband parked at the nearest corner and joined me. We saw a small squirrel just moving round and round but unable to cover any distance. This was my 1 st close interaction with a squirrel and I had NO CLUE what to do with it, but all I knew was that if I left it, it would surely die. I must have made a minimum of 25 frantic calls to different rehabilitation centers, vets, 911, before I was finally able to get to speak to someone who was a volunteer rehabilitator and offered to help and provide it with the professional help it needed – We drove down for 45 minutes one way to get to that person from where I stay. 2 precious hours was lost since I had found the squirrel and was finally able to give it some treatment and help. I made my choice…Lets see whats your choice will be?
190 million motor vehicles on road everyday. The figure includes mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Not to take into account those who are injured and die at a distance inside the bushes and jungles and are never counted. Some can be saved when provided with immediate and right information. Currently no organized and centralized system exists where such animal road accidents can be immediately reported to ensure that they receive the required emergency medical care. This leads to a high rate of animal deaths due to roadkill…many lives lost because we humans did not choose to act to save a life. 115 human accidents everyday.
People who want to make the right choice …do not have access to the right information and resources to act effectively and in a timely manner. Lack of access to immediate resources and reliable services to provide emergency animal care
Organized community of people who are professionals, volunteers, rehabilitators, and animal lovers can all find each other in a common platform, interacting and supporting each other to make the choice to save its life…and reach to the closest service provider in times of emergency needs, while also forming an active community of animal lovers.
To design an app whose mission is to
Good will Stars Service Success Stars Community Act Stars Thank you Stars
Earn service starts….and these are good for professionals to receive more stars..for individuals who are looking for a career in the animal care sector, to earn service starts shows commitment .
Incentives – Earn Service starts, Trip advisor reconnized hotel…consumer…use trip advisor…good reviewed…popularise the app,
One right tap --- can save a life..Every human being has the compassion and care that can be harnessed if provided with the right tools and resources. The creation of this community through the app will fill the existing gap between those who need care and those who want to provide care by giving both these segments a common platform to communicate and reach out to for ready response. For people who have no time to stop by and save a life, also has the power to just make that one call to connect to the community of animal lovers who are ready to respond and only needs the timely information. …If letting a human being die informt of you without making an attempt to help is considered cruel..then is exactly the same with aniamls…if we choose to ignore that dying squirrel on the road…its an act of cruelty…we can make a different choice with the help of this app and make that connection that has the power to give life.
