Dear Sir/Madam

In reference to your article published on last Wednesday about the recent increase in
vandalism and graffiti downtown, I would like to suggest some possible solutions to
this problem.

To begin with, I think the police should patrol more often at night, in this way people
would feel safer and discourage vandals. Furthermore it is important that police do a
better job than they usually do, as a result of this, the residents would go out of the
streets as they did before.

Another helpful suggestion would be getting involved the whole community for
cleaning the graffiti and fixing the damage caused on the walls. Consequently,
members of the neighborhood would gather and share the sense of responsibility.

All things considered, it cannot be denied that the graffiti and vandalism are a huge
problem for the society. Fortunately, there are things that we as a community can do.
I believe my suggestions will be taken into consideration.

Yours faithfully,

Erika and Daniel.
