George Allard created a DIY tripod out of wood and rope to film surreal close-up shots of an artist's face from their perspective. He nailed three pieces of wood into a tripod shape and added a hinged end to adjust the camera angle. Then he strapped the tripod to his subject's chest with rope and a belt to film from a surreal chest-level viewpoint while maintaining a stable close-up focus on the artist's face.
