This document provides instructions for making a bird box, including measuring and cutting wood pieces for the sides and bottom, sanding the wood smooth, drilling a circular hole for birds to enter, and securing the sides with nails. Key materials needed are a ruler, saw, nails, sandpaper, and wood planks. Measurements for the side pieces are given as 12cm x 25cm and for the smaller bottom pieces as 8cm x 12cm.

2.  It is important to decide what measurement
you need before beginning the bird box.

4.  Draw the measurements onto the wood
 Cut 4 pieces of wood that are 12cm x 25cm these
are used for the sides.
 Next cut to smaller pieces 8cm x 12cm.
 When cutting the wood, hold it in place with a
metal clip.

5.  To smooth out the wood it is important to
sand the wood.

6.  Now we have to choose a side to put the bird
hole in, we must take into consideration
where to position the circle.

7.  To secure the box it is important to use 2-3
nails on each side.
